When I think of the Irish, I don’t think of Austin, Texas but Austin does have its fair share of Celtic events, organizations, network groups and more! I’ve never personally ventured out during a St. Patrick’s Day celebration but if you’re in the mood, check out these fun events and don’t forget to wear green!
Music from Ireland’s Full Irish Breakfast at B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub in downtown Austin. Music from Ireland is here in town with 9 other incredible acts to showcase their talents all afternoon! This is a free event with an RSVP!

St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza
Austin’s newest Irish pub, Darcy’s Donkey is hosting a two-day event of all things Celtic! Come have a pint or Irish Whiskey while you enjoy the live music, limited menu featuring Irish dishes and kid-friendly activities. All the fun begins at Happy Hour on Friday at 5:45 PM.
St. Patrick’s Day at B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub. Ready for a good crowd? Head downtown to B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The pub will feature Irish music, beers and food. Oh, and it’s free!
St. Patrick’s Day Austin at Pioneer Farms. This annual St. Patrick’s Day festival is a celebration of all things Irish. Enjoy watching performances by local troupe, Inishfree Irish Dancers, Irish language workshops and more!
Irish Stroll Bar Crawl – Gain access to exclusive drink specials at venues around town. The crawl starts at Parlor & Yard at 1 PM on Sunday (3/17/19) and ends at The Nook Amphitheatre. You must preregister.
Y’all Fest 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Party at St. Elmo Brewing Co. Looking to get out but want to avoid the SXSW crowd? Head to this event with plenty of beer and no lines or cover and live music from Y’all Out Boy pop punk cover band. Celebrate like a local.
St. Patrick’s Day Party at Pinthouse – this low-key party will feature Irish special edition beers on tap, live bagpipes and plenty of pizza and Guinness!
