Ice Skating On The Plaza at Whole Foods | Now through 1/21


At the Whole Foods on North Lamar, take the family out for an afternoon on the ice rink and then head inside for some cider and live music!

3M Half Marathon | January 20th

Downtown Austin will be flooded with more than 7,000 runners for the 3M Half Marathon! This is one of the fastest 13.1 mile course in the country, finishing near the State Capitol. Register and/or find more information here.


Martin Luther King March and Festival | January 21


Starting at the MLK statue at the University of Texas, participants will march to historic Huston-Tillotson University. This is a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy for not just Austin, but the world.


Hi, How Are You Day 2019 | January 22

Hosted by ACL Live at the Moody Theater, a celebration for Daniel Johnston. This project aims to educate the community worldwide about the importance of mental health and well being. There will be a benefit concert featuring The Flaming Lips, Built to Spill, Yo La Tengo and more!


Silent Night | January 26 - February 3

The Pulizter Prize-Winning modern classic Silent Night brings to the stage the miraculous moments of peace during World War I on Christmas Eve. An Austin Opera production that you will certainly enjoy.
