8 upcoming austin spring fetivals worth checking out

Spring might be the best time of the year to get out and do something fun in Austin. Not only is the weather ideal to enjoy a number of outdoor activities, but it's also when the local festival scene really picks up. From music in the park to many types of street food to all sorts of arts & crafts, Austin has a plethora of great events to check out in the Spring of 2017. There are literally hundreds of festivals over the course of April and May to discover, but we've narrowed it down to eight events that we feel cover a variety of interests and appeal to a range of demographics.

Euphoria

The hottest outdoor music festival in Austin is fast approaching, with over 80 artists performing over four days at the beautiful Carson Creek Ranch (20 minutes outside Austin's downtown core). This year's headliners include Alesso, Chromeo, Wiz Khalifa, Zeds Dead, and Moby.

The music isn't the only thing worth going for, though. The festival is also introducing the Art Outside Village to the Euphoria festival, featuring curated art installations, yoga, music, workshops, and other performances. Those who want to camp overnight can also take advantage of a shuttle service that will pick you up and take you to your campsite.

Lonestar Round Up

This outdoor music festival and car show features custom cars and vintage hot rods from across America. It also draws guests from around the world, so you'll meet plenty of new people with interesting stories to share. BBQs and cruise nights also highlight this wonderful two-day festival.
