Pinterest is one of the major social media Platforms that isn’t given enough credit. It doesn’t have the numbers of Facebook and Instagram but is a powerhouse in its own right. Just for different reasons. This platform is pure visual entertainment that links directly to articles and ideas. Also links to shopping and specific stores. According to one article from HootSuite “Pinterest beats out Instagram as a primary social media platform influencing purchasing decisions for U.S. social media users.” That’s certainly impressive! Pinterest can be a fun and great resource for your real estate business. But first let’s go over some terminology!

Goodbye summer and hello fall! September 22nd marks the first day of fall for 2018 and I know several of us Texas are excited. As a native Texan, I sure love a good sweat. However, when September rolls around and the air starts to cool, we get to enjoy other aspects of life. Austin ignites with festivals, outdoor musicals and tourists. Outdoor patios start to fill up again and our parks are swarmed with outdoor adventure seekers. Pumpkins have made their return to front porches to remind of us that another season has come! In Texas, we don't get fall colors but we do get to take advantage of warmer than average temperatures for the fall season and I for one, love wearing dresses in November!

Starting as a real estate agent can be tough. You do not start off with a steady paycheck and getting referrals isn’t even an option yet. My assistant manager once told me you have to save up an entire year’s worth of salary to live off of because it can take you that long to become established. Now don’t run away, this is the hard truth when it comes to running your own business. And yes, that is what you are. Make that your mantra, “I am my own business.” Whenever you don’t feel like calling or emailing leads, that could be a paycheck you are losing out on. You got this! And the best place to start is with your database.

The "database" in realty terms is your list of contacts, everyone you know or have you had

The private backyard oasis is complete with a pool, covered patio, outdoor kitchen and tree covered. The backyard really is ideal for entertainers! The home comes with over $100,000 in upgrades!

“Fetch!” “Sit!” “Oh Good boy (or Girl)!”

When you hear these things with the shouty inner voice in your head, what is the first thing you think of?? Dogs! You guessed it! In my opinion, pets are one of the most important things in our lives and they deserve only the best (aside from daily steak, let’s be real)! With all the unconditional love and snuggles they give with no thought of anything in return, they are truly special creatures. Dogs and cats hold special places in our hearts. Paws up, (see what I did there…?) this blog will mainly focus on activities for dogs and the things available for dog lovers around Austin. But, don’t worry I will be coming at you again with cat related items also! We can’t forget
