Austin ISD
The Austin ISD is a large school district that serves over 80,000 students spread across more than 100 schools. This is a strong independent school district and many schools here have been recognized as being 'Exemplary' by the Texas Education Agency.
Bastrop ISD
The Bastrop ISD has 4 high schools, 4 middle schools and 6 elementary schools.
Blanco ISD
The Blanco ISD serves nearly 1,000 students and has one high school, one middle school and one elementary school.
Burnet CISD
This consolidated school district is based out of Burnet, Llano and Williamson county. The Burnet was rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Education Agency.
Comal ISD
The Comal ISD covers nearly 600 square miles across five central Texas counties. This is a larger school district that serves over 18,000 students.
Del Valle ISD
The Del Valle ISD serves much of the southeast Travis County. This school district was rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Education Agency.
Dripping Springs ISD
The Dripping Springs ISD serves Hays and Travis County. There are six schools in this district with approximately 5,400 students.
Eanes ISD
The Eanes ISD has nine schools which have all been rated as 'Exemplary' by the state of Texas.
Elgin ISD
The Elgin ISD is comprised of six schools which serve 4,000 students northern Bastrop County.
Florence ISD
The Florence ISD serves over 1,000 students in Williamson and Bell County. This is the only school district in Texas operated by a Class AAA school.
Georgetown ISD
The Georgetown ISD is based out of Georgetown and serves the city of Weir, Serenada and Walburg. This school district has been rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Education Agency.
Giddings ISD
This is one of the smaller school districts and is comprised of one high school, one middle school and one elementary school.
Granger ISD
This school district is based out of Granger in Williamson County. The Granger ISD was rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Education Agency.
Hays CISD
The Hays CISD is a fairly large consolidated school district that has over 20 schools. This CISD serves northern parts of Hays County and has been rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Education Agency.
Hutto ISD
Hutto ISD is popular because it offers a number of college-level courses in its early college program. This school district serves 6,000 students and has eight schools in total.
Jarrell ISD
The Jarrell ISD is one of the smaller school districts in the area and is comprised of one school, one middle school and one elementary school.
Lago Vista ISD
Lago Vista ISD is a very well-renowned school district which has been rated as 'Exemplary' by the Texas Education Agency.
Lake Travis ISD
The Lake Travis ISD serves just over 8,000 students and is comprised of 9 schools in total. This is one of the top rated schools in the Greater Austin Area.
Llano ISD
The Llano ISD serves roughly 1,800 students and is comprised of one high school, one middle school and two elementary schools.
Leander ISD
This is one of the larger independent school districts in the Greater Austin Areas. Leander ISD is one of the fastest growing school districts in Texas and serves 225 square miles in several communities including Leander, Cedar Park, and Jonestown in Williamson County.
Liberty Hill ISD
The Liberty Hill ISD is comprised of 5 schools and has been rated as 'Recognized' by the Texas Education Agency.
Lockhart ISD
The Lockhart ISD serves over 5,000 students and is comprised of 7 schools, offering grades K-12.
Manor ISD
Manor ISD is comprised of 12 schools and serves several communities. This ISD was rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Education Agency.
Marble Falls ISD
Located in the heart of the Highland Lakes region of Texas Hill Country, the Marble Falls ISD encompasses 268 square miles and serves several communities including Marble Falls, Meadowlakes, Granite Shoals, Highland Haven, Cottonwood, Smithwick, Spicewood and Horseshoe Bay.
New Braunfels ISD
The New Braunfels ISD is comprised of over a dozen schools and holds the distinction of being the only ISD with a unicorn mascot. This ISD has been rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Educational Agency.
Pflugerville ISD
The Pflugerville ISD encompasses approximately 95 square miles and is zoned for the community of Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor and Round Rock.
Rockdale ISD
Rockdale ISD serves the K-12th grade and is located in Rockdale, TX. This independent school district educates roughly 1,500 students annually.
Round Rock ISD
This is one of the larger school districts in the Greater Austin Area and has experienced significant growth in recent years. This ISD serves 110 square miles and is comprised of nearly 50 schools.
San Marcos CISD
This consolidated ISD covers 210 square miles throughout Hays, Caldwell and Guadalupe counties. This ISD serves over 2,500 students and is comprised of ten schools.
Smithville ISD
The Smithville ISD has students in five schools. This ISD is comprised of the five schools, including the Bastrop County Juvenile Boot Camp.
Taylor ISD
This school district is both public and private. This ISD has been rated as 'Academically Acceptable' by the Texas Education Agency.
Thorndale ISD
Thorndale ISD is known for being the primary location used in filming 'The Rookie'. This ISD is comprised of three schools.
Wimberley ISD
